SNAP Resources and Summer Food Benefits

Our school district is committed to supporting students and families year‑round. During the summer months, families may be eligible for additional food assistance programs to help ensure children continue to have access to nutritious meals.

About SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

SNAP helps eligible individuals and families buy food throughout the year. Some families may qualify for SNAP even if they are unsure or have never applied before.

Families can:

  • Check eligibility using a confidential prescreening tool

  • Apply online

  • Get free help completing an application

About Summer EBT (S‑EBT)

Summer EBT is a food benefit program that helps eligible families buy groceries for school‑aged children when school is not in session.

  • Many eligible students are automatically enrolled

  • Most families do not need to apply

  • Benefits are provided on an EBT card that can be used to purchase food

Schools play an important role in this process by maintaining accurate student enrollment and demographic information.

What families can do:

  • Review and update your child’s information with the school if needed

  • Watch for mail or notices about Summer EBT benefits

Support for Families

Our district works to connect families with available resources and support services. Participation in food assistance programs is confidential and does not affect a student’s standing in school.

If you have questions or need help updating student information, please contact your school’s main office.

Together, we can help ensure our students are supported both in and out of the classroom.
