Board Of Education Meetings
The Board conducts all official business at open meetings. The public has the right to attend all such meetings. The Board meets on a rotating basis in each of the school buildings. Notices of meetings are published on the district calendar, at the District Office, and in our district newsletters.

Public Participation at Board Meetings
A specific portion of each Board agenda provides attendees the privilege of the floor.
Valid, intelligent decisions on important, complex matters are always made through the possession of complete information. For this reason, as well as to permit mature deliberation, it is not advisable for the Board of Education to act on items that are not on the agenda, or on which its members do not have full information. Therefore, the Board of Education shall not act on presentations made by the public at the meeting of presentation, but merely take such issues under advisement for further study and action.
Procedure for Presentations
1. A person or persons wishing to address the Board of Education should make their requests, preferably in writing, to the Superintendent, indicating the subject of their presentation.
2. When recognized, one should raise, and state one's name and address, and the subject of the remarks to be made. Upon conclusion of the presentation, the person who has made the remarks should remain in order to respond to questions from Board members or the Superintendent.
3. Time limitations on the length of presentations may be imposed, either before or during the presentation by the President of the Board.
