OSMS Students Explore the Cell Membrane

Students in Mr. Steenburg’s science class at Otto Shortell Middle School are exploring the important role of the cell membrane!
Students discussed how the cell membrane acts like a security guard, controlling which substances can enter and leave a cell. This selective barrier helps protect the cell and maintain the proper balance of materials it needs to function.
By connecting science concepts to real-world examples, students are building a deeper understanding of how living cells work!
