Learning Through Gaming at OHS

Students in Mr. Silkowski’s Gaming Concepts class recently visited the World Video Game Hall of Fame exhibits at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester!

As part of their studies on the history of video games, students explored gaming innovations and learned how developers use sensory elements and surroundings to create engaging gaming experiences.

After touring the exhibits, students enjoyed hands-on, interactive activities that encouraged teamwork and communication. They also had the opportunity to experience modern gaming systems and explore new ideas in game design.

It was a fun, engaging learning experience that brought classroom concepts to life!
