Staff Spotlight: Kristen Myatt 

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on OHS Business teacher Kristen Myatt!

Mrs. Myatt was nominated for consistently modeling professionalism, building positive relationships with students, and holding them accountable. Whether she’s greeting students in the hallways or leading meaningful classroom discussions and hands-on projects, she helps students develop valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom and into everyday life.

Beyond her impact as a teacher and role model, Mrs. Myatt plays an important role in advancing the district’s vision for new graduation pathways aligned with the NYS Portrait of a Graduate, helping prepare students for success in their futures.

As her nominator shared, “She makes it easy for students to bridge the gap between high school and the transition into an independent adult.”
