OHS students in Mr. Gillander’s class are getting hands-on experience with the fundamentals of photography as they learn how to use the different settings on their cameras.

Students are exploring how adjustments to settings such as shutter speed, aperture, and ISO can change the way a photograph looks and help them capture the image they envision.

By experimenting with their cameras, students are developing both their technical skills and creative eye—learning that great photography is about more than simply pressing the shutter button!
