OHS Students Create Custom Gifts for New Staff

Students in Mr. Dave Wright’s Computer Integrated Manufacturing class recently partnered with Mrs. Belanger on a hands-on laser engraving project at Oneida High School.
Using an Omtech 80-watt laser engraver, students Dylan, Mark, Preston, and Aiden designed and engraved wooden pens featuring the Oneida High School logo. These custom pens will be gifted to new staff members and substitute teachers as a welcoming gesture from the school community.
This project gave students real-world experience in precision manufacturing, design, and production while also allowing them to contribute something meaningful and professional for the district. A great example of creativity, skill-building, and school pride in action! #OneidaPride
