Celebrating National Kindergarten Day

April 21 (yesterday), is National Kindergarten Day—a day dedicated to honoring the roots of early childhood education and the power of play in learning.
This day recognizes the legacy of Friedrich Wilhelm August Fröbel (1782–1852), the visionary educator who founded the very first kindergarten in Germany in 1837. Fröbel believed that young children learn best through hands-on experiences, creativity, and play—an approach that continues to shape early education around the world today.
Kindergarten is more than just a first step in school—it’s where curiosity is sparked, friendships begin, and a lifelong love of learning takes root.
We celebrate our youngest learners and the educators who nurture them every day with patience, joy, and purpose.
