6th Graders Explore Robotics by Building Base Bots

Students in Mr. Quenneville’s 6th-grade Technology class are diving into the world of robotics by building base bots—simple robot frameworks that can include basic movements like moving forward and backward, as well as sensors for obstacle detection. Today, students began assembling the pieces of their bots, learning how each component works together. Many students shared that they enjoy collaborating in teams, highlighting the importance of teamwork and problem-solving in technology projects.
This hands-on experience helps students develop critical thinking, creativity, and practical engineering skills while exploring the fundamentals of robotics.
