Meet OCSD Alumna Kylee Gardner, Class of 2017!

One of Kylee’s all-time favorite memories from her time at OCSD is Mr. Leo and his turtles!

After graduation, Kylee attended Continental School of Beauty, where she became a licensed cosmetologist. She now works as a hairstylist at Remedy Salon in Sherrill, NY, specializing in color and extensions.

"Being a hairstylist is so much more than doing hair for me — it’s about connection, confidence, and helping people see themselves in a new light. I love the creativity behind every appointment, but what truly fills my cup is watching someone light up when they see their reflection. Making my clients feel beautiful, refreshed, and confident is the best part of what I do. There’s nothing better than knowing I get to play a small role in helping someone feel their absolute best."

To future graduates, Kylee offers this advice: "Follow your dreams and do what makes you happy. No one knows you better than yourself!"
