Celebrating Youth Art Month, Thank You Art Department!

Celebrating Youth Art Month
March is Youth Art Month—a time to celebrate the power of creativity in our schools and the incredible educators who make it possible. 🎨
At Oneida City School District, we are proud to recognize our dedicated art teachers who inspire students every day to explore, create, and think critically. Through their guidance, students develop not only artistic skills, but also confidence, problem-solving abilities, and new ways to see the world around them.
Youth Art Month, coordinated by the Council for Art Education, highlights the importance of strong art programs in our schools. This year’s theme, “The World Needs Art,” reminds us just how essential creativity is in shaping thoughtful, innovative, and connected communities.
From vibrant classroom projects to student artwork displayed throughout our schools and community spaces, our art teachers help bring learning to life in meaningful and lasting ways. Their passion and commitment ensure that every student has the opportunity to express themselves and be inspired.
Join us in celebrating Youth Art Month and thanking our art educators for the lasting impact they make in the lives of our students—because the world truly does need art!
