Students at Willard Prior Elementary recently enjoyed a special visit from Eric Litwin. Litwin is a song-singing, guitar-strumming, #1 New York Times best-selling and award-winning author who is known for bringing together early literacy, music, movement, and positivity in his work with young readers.

Litwin is the original author of the beloved Pete the Cat series and has also written popular titles, including The Nuts and Groovy Joe, among others!

During his visit, Litwin played guitar, sang songs, and engaged students in an interactive performance that encouraged a love of reading, rhythm, and storytelling. His energetic presentation helped students experience how music and movement can strengthen literacy skills and make reading joyful and memorable.
