Mental Health Grant Brings New Opportunities for Student Connection

Thanks to funding from the Mental Health Grant, our School Community Liaisons were able to enhance high school student wellness opportunities during lunch periods and in the Senior Lounge.
With these funds, a variety of games and activities were purchased to help encourage positive social interaction, connection, and stress relief among students. New additions include board games, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Kan Jam, cornhole, and mindful coloring activities.
Providing opportunities for students to engage in fun, low-pressure activities helps foster a supportive school environment where students can build relationships, practice teamwork, and take healthy breaks during the school day. These spaces encourage students to step away from academic pressures and connect with peers in meaningful ways.
We are grateful for the support that allows us to continue prioritizing student well-being and creating opportunities that strengthen our school community.
