Where Are They Now: Emma Adams

Where Are They Now?
Emma Adams, a proud member of the Oneida City School District Class of 2008, fondly remembers her time at Oneida for the Friday night football games, spirited pep rallies, and her involvement in concert choir under the direction of Mr. Welcher.
After graduating, Emma attended McDaniel College, where she spent three years playing collegiate basketball. Following a career-ending shoulder injury, she transferred to Rochester Institute of Technology, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
Emma continues to call Oneida home. She is engaged to her fiancé, Noah, and is the proud mother of three children: Reagan (9), Weston (7), and Wallace (5).
Professionally, Emma is a valued member of Lifetime Health Companies, where she supports major health insurance partners including Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Univera Healthcare, and CDPHP. In her role as a Customer Care Advocate, Emma works with both the Excellus BCBS Federal Employee Program and a dedicated service team for Univera Healthcare. She assists providers and members in navigating benefits and claims, resolving concerns, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
Emma is proud of her journey and the role she plays in serving others—both professionally and within the community she has always called home.
To future graduates, Emma offers this advice: "You don’t need to have everything figured out right now. Most adults are still learning, changing paths, and discovering what they want. Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s."
