While everyone understands the importance of getting back to routine, middle schoolers have certainly made the most of the schedule shift.

After much discussion, the general consensus among Oneida Middle School students is that returning to a “normal” school day is not their preferred plan. They’ve grown to love later start times and shorter days. The thought of earlier alarms and longer class periods has been met with a newfound appreciation for sleep.

In short, they are enjoying the current schedule way more than they expected.
