Ms. Clark and Mr. Weaver’s class at Durhamville Elementary recently engaged in a hands-on science investigation focused on exploring physical and chemical properties. Students tested solubility, magnetism, and acid/base reactions as part of their inquiry.

As a final challenge, students applied their observations and data to identify an unknown powder, strengthening their critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills.

Experiences like this deepen students’ understanding of core science concepts while fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration in the classroom.
