Week 3 of LEAP was another exciting and educational experience for the students! The week focused on hands-on science experiments, where kids created propeller-powered cars and homemade bottle rockets.

The culmination of the week was “movie day,” where students transformed the gym into a cozy movie theater. They enjoyed a screening of Moana 2 along with popcorn, candy, and drinks, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrated their hard work and teamwork throughout the week.

This week marks the beginning of the final week of the LEAP summer program, and students will look forward to a day at Vets Park. Here, they will have the opportunity to engage in both swimming and exploring the playground, celebrating the success of a fun and productive summer filled with new knowledge and skills. This combination of educational and recreational activities helps reinforce the learning experiences while promoting physical activity and social interaction among the students.
