Some students have been participating in a dangerous activity known as the “Chromebook Challenge," where they insert objects such as pencils, paper clips, and pushpins into their Chromebook devices. 

This practice can lead to electrical short circuits, which may produce sparks, ignite fires, cause explosions, emit toxic fumes, and result in injuries. Students engaging in this behavior may also face legal repercussions.
 
We ask all teachers and staff to remain vigilant and monitor for any signs of students tampering with their Chromebooks. Please be on the lookout for any foreign objects being inserted, keys being forcibly removed, or any other damage to these devices.

We strongly urge parents and guardians to engage with their children in conversations about the potential risks associated with this trend. Encourage your children to utilize social media responsibly and practice safe online behavior.
