Students Discover Ground's Natural Water Filtering Abilities

Third-grade scientists in Mrs. Weaver’s and Mrs. Shene’s classes discovered how water flowing through sand, gravel, cotton balls, and coffee filters can actually make it cleaner! This lesson is part of the Adaptation and Survival science unit. This section focuses on water quality, distribution, and human impacts on the environment.
