Greetings Oneida City School District Community!
This week’s Superintendent's Video Blast comes from Oneida High School as our Shared Decision Team discusses the survey results regarding changes to our mascot going forward. This week, the New York State Board of Regents unanimously voted to prohibit public schools from using Native American team names, mascots and logos. Our Shared Decision Team is in the process of narrowing down the survey results, in order to put another 3-5 potential mascots out to the community for a vote.
