Comprehensive Improvement Plan Survey
Posted on 05/11/2020
The Oneida City School District was identified by the New York State Education Department through ESSA accountability as a Targeted District.  The identifications are based on student performance and growth on NYS 3-8 assessments, the number of students participating in the NYS  3-8 assessments, chronic absenteeism, Regents exam results, graduation rate, and college and career readiness.  All Targeted Districts are required to create a team that complete a DCIP (District Comprehensive Improvement Plan).

As a result of the Targeted District identification, we will be garnering feedback from our staff, students and parents in the form of surveys. The surveys have been created by Syracuse University and will be tabulated by Syracuse University.  The data will be reviewed by the team that completes our DCIP (District Comprehensive Improvement Plan).  It is required by NYSED to get feedback from staff, students and parents in this process.  The district believes that the identifications will provide an opportunity to grow and learn.  The survey results will help the district improve outcomes for all students.

The surveys will need to be completed by May 22, 2020.
