To All Stakeholders of the Oneida City School District:
Following a comprehensive analysis and extremely careful consideration of all of the critical components, the Board of Education has approved the administrative reorganization plan as presented by Superintendent Zehr. While this decision was made with the interest of all District stakeholders in mind, at the core of this decision was a laser focus on creating an optimal educational environment for our students.
The new administrative structure was developed, and will be executed, to be more responsive to the increasing needs of our students and our community. The Board of Education and District Leadership Team will closely monitor the progress of this plan and assess its ongoing impact on the District. We are confident that, through a district and community wide collaborative effort, this reorganization will lead to greater success for our students, including increased graduation rates and enhanced college and career readiness.
The Board of Education is appreciative of all of the feedback shared by District stakeholders and is thankful for the support it received for this plan. We look forward to the future of the Oneida City School District with optimism and excitement.
