The Oneida City School District is proud to announce the opening of Student Portal starting Monday, May 15, 2017. Schooltool Student Portal will provide access to the information stored in our Student Data Management System. A component of this system is a secure, web-based portal for accessing student’s grades, attendance and other important information.

Bill and his houses have been featured on HGTV and the Travel Channel including television programs Tiny House Hunters and Extreme RV.

On September 6, 2016 Governor Cuomo signed legislation requiring all school districts and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES) in New York State to test potable water systems for lead contamination and to take responsive actions. Student safety is paramount for the Oneida City School District and the district was proactive in testing for lead.

I am writing to inform you that at approximately 3:30 p.m. on October 13, 2016, a bullet was discovered on a hallway floor at Otto Shortell Middle School. The bullet was found by a staff member, and there were no students in the building. Administration was immediately notified, who in turn, contacted law enforcement.
